Chaos erupted on ITV's morning telly as 'Good Morning Britain' was smoked out 20 minutes before its time! The dynamic duo Susanna Reid and Ed Balls were in the midst of their Monday morning banter when a blaring alarm rang chaos into the studio. Viewers heard Susanna say she could hear an alarm through her earpiece and within moments, bam! Off to adverts they went, never to return. The culprit? A sizzling fire alarm that had the crew dashing for the exits. Instead of the planned extended play till 10 am, 'This Morning' stars Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard were caught off-guard as they suddenly became ITV's morning saviors. Microphones getting adjusted, confused exchanges - 'Are we on?' - and a broadcast that started sooner than its curtain call. With a chuckle, Shephard quipped about finding content to fill the unexpected airtime while the usual GMB set was left an echo of alarms. As the smoke cleared, guest Gyles Brandreth shared birthday tales and Chef Clodagh McKenna waxed poetic about 'The Love Story'. From scheduled programming to spur-of-the-moment solutions, it was morning TV with a fiery twist!
